Peter Kalkhof
Over many years his main concern as a painter are the abstract phenomena of Colour, Light & Space. More recently the tactile surface textures of materials are of interest. He works with strong colours in combination with geometric forms in linear & colour field compositions. Colour with its intrinsic properties as carrier of space lends itself physically for this purpose of nearness & distance. His work is an attempt to overcome the transitoriness of time, to reach out towards the spiritual, the sublime. He has exhibited abroad & shown in a leading London gallery Annely Juda Fine Art.
Libby Jones
She is concerned with conceptual and philosophical themes. Originally qualifying as a sculptor she is interested in the crossover between 2D and 3D work. Whilst studying for a Masters in Printmaking at the London Print Studio Libby has made use of the facilities available to combine photographic, digital and hand drawn images in screen prints and etchings. Her work has been exhibited abroad in places like Japan & is in several public collections in important hospitals in London.
JonGershon There are various sides to his work, a fusion of poetry, video / animation and things He makes or finds. Curious by suggested relationships and the visceral connections that can be seen in video. He is interested in the parts that make up a whole, non-space and symbols / icons. The reason for this is they have strong relationships in our perception, memory, interpretation, and how we experience the world. He has shown abroad and works is his studio in London.
Mali One of the anonymous artists from Mumbai India he is the backbone of today's contemporary art from this continent. Mali is known in the UK as a network artist, his admirers consider him to be a exceptional conceptual artist. In 2004 his work was sold in Christies, he gives seminars at various colleges, schools and community centres. He is also an avid collector of art as well as co-ordinating shows for other artists. For two decades he has been working around the subject of books. He has participated in 120 group shows and 25 solo shows.
